WHEN dance is your passion, you not only live for dance, you dance to live.For many people, dance provides the starting and finishing point of life's journey. It's this sheer energy and passion which is so powerfully captured in Just Dance. The stars of the show are the performers - all talented dancers aged between four and 25 years. The narrator is the dance itself, and the dance is the driving force which gives these youngsters the inner strength and confidence to meet life's challenges and live every day to the fullest. Emotions run high as we follow their journey from childhood, with all its innocence, fun and freedom, to young adulthood when events such as falling in love for the first time brings them face-to-face with life's bitersweet defining moments. Packed full of energy, love and zest for life - as well as plenty of Street and Contemporary dance - the show comes to a breathless, ultimate conclusion that in the end all you really need to do is Just Dance.Just Dance is choreographed by Julie Lawton of Mad4Dance - a school based in Christchurch which specialises in Contemporary and Street Dance. Mad4Dance's sole aim is to inspire, encourage and develop young people in dance, building on their inner confidence and self-worth.
