The UK’s First Lady of Soul, Mica Paris, has just launched her latest album, Born Again and is now undertaking a major nationwide tour.  Mica grew up in South London and her roots are in the soul and gospel music that she sang at her grandparents’ church.  In 1988 Mica launched her debut Platinum selling album, So Good, from which she had her first Top Ten hit, You Are My One Temptation.  Further Chart success came with her duet with Will Downing, Where is the Love, Breathe Life into Me, If I Love U 2 Nite and I Never Felt Like This Before.  Latterly, Mica’s career has taken her into Radio, TV and Acting.  She has presented Radio 2’s Soul Sensations, Channel 4’s The Gospel of Gospels, co-hosted BBC TV’s What Not to Wear and been a judge on Channel 4’s Miss Naked Beauty.  She even put her Soul rhythm to good effect in BBC 1’s Strictly Come Dancing.  Mica’s first passion remains her music and this concert promises a showcase of hits from two decades in the business.
