A period of Free Love and Flower Power; from the mini skirt to the mini car when Carnaby Street was the Fashion Capital of the world and San Francisco was home to the Flower People. This was time for change in every aspect of our social life and none more so than in the world of music. Both here and in the USA, music was breaking new boundaries. The Beatles had found the Maharishi and recorded Sgt. Pepper and bands like Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys, Procol Harum, Amen Corner, The Move, Mamas & the Papas, Scott McKenzie, Blood Sweat & Tears, Small Faces, Walker Bro’s, Joe Cocker, Moody Blues, Kinks were just a few contributing to this new Psychedelic Phenomenon. The music from this unique 60’s show is performed by the official new Amen Corner and features the musically acclaimed 6-piece band. Using players from Britain’s foremost Music Conservatoires; this extremely versatile and talented group of musicians have toured with many internationally acclaimed artistes including Meatloaf, Alice Cooper, Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone, David Gates, Garry Brooker, Barry Manilow and Chris de Burgh with whom they have recorded two albums .
