Phone & Internet Booking Fees Abolished!
As from today customers will no longer be asked to pay a booking fee when booking by phone or online. This saves £1 per booking on the phone, and £1.80 online. You can book by phone or online at no extra cost, and arrive for the event, comfortable in the in the knowledge that the tickets for the seats you have chosen will be waiting from you. We are hoping to enable you to choose seats when booking online in the not too distant future.
This move coincides with the launch of the Regent Development Fund, set up to provide funds for essential equipment and maintenance items. 50p from each ticket you buy will go into this fund, and because it's treated as fund-raising by the charity, its benefit to the charity is similar to a £1.75 price hike!
So we think we've found a good way of making bookings more attractive, easy and economical for our customers, and raising essential funds to ensure it can continue successfully.
If you have any queries, please call the General manager or Marketing & Developmnt Manager, complete a contact form on this site, or email info@regentcentre.co.uk .

Mamma Mia! Late Night Specials
Following the success of the first late night special on 8th August, 4 more 10.00 pm performances have been scheduled 17th-20th September when the film returns for a few days.
Two of these will be special 'Sing-Along' shows on 18th & 20th September, when the words to the songs will appear on the screen, and there's a chance for you to let your hair down!
There are 11 screenings over 4 days, but the two 7.30 shows have now sold out, so only 11.00 am, 2.30 pm and 10.00 pm shows have tickets available. Don't miss out - book early.

Regent first to arrange Sing-along Mamma Mia!
Universal Pictures, distributors of Mamma Mia!, have confirmed that we are the first venue in the country to arrange a Sing-along special presentation of the blockbuster film, which has smashed all box office records during its first week at the Regent Centre. The screening will be at 10.00 pm on Thursday 18th September, as part of a 10 performance short run 17th-20th September.
Universal are providing the Centre with a disc enabling us to show the words of the songs on the screen as they're sung, just providing a bit of help and encouragement for the audience to join in .... a chance to let your hair down, and flow with the music!
"These days, with so many options open to people to see films, it's great to have a way of hosting a film event which could never be reproduced at home watching a DVD or film download," says Regent Manager Keith Lancing. "Imagine being part of a 450 strong audience, taking a drink into the cinema, and letting rip when those fabulous ABBA tracks start to play - you could have the plushest plasma screen in the world at home, but you couldn't get the same experience there!" Sorry for problems in ringing us ...
We'd like to apologise to people who have been trying to ring us over the past week, and have had trouble getting through. Quite honestly we've been inundated with interest in Mamma Mia. Sometimes nine people have been trying to get through on the phone at once, with a queue of people waiting at the box office at the same time. Over 6,000 people have seen the run in a week, which is four times our average attendance, and we could have sold many more, had there been any empty seats! We expect normal service to be resumed after Thursday, and we would like to thank you for your patience, and hope that you will accept our apologies.
