This year, the British Independent Film Awards, supported by Kia, has launched the Cinema of the Year Award – and we’re proud to be in the running!

 

There’s nothing quite like the shared experience of watching a film on the big screen, and at the Regent, we’re passionate about bringing people together to enjoy the very best cinema has to offer. As a local charity based in a beautiful 1931 building, we’re proud to keep the magic of cinema alive with everything from 35mm screenings and classic seasons to blockbusters, indie gems, live theatre broadcasts, and Silver Screen matinees – all while being a cultural hub for Christchurch for over 40 years.
