Oscar Sellick-Pilley – General Manager

Oscar has previously worked for Odeon Cinemas, managing or deputy managing such important buildings as the Odeon Swiss Cottage, Salisbury and Leicester Square. He started his career with Odeon at their premises on Westover Rd in Bournemouth and was part of the management team who opened the new BH2 cinema in Bournemouth town centre. Oscar began his managerial career at the Apollo Victoria in the West End, before facilitating volunteer projects in Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria. Being from Christchurch, Oscar is thrilled to be working at such a historic venue in his hometown.  

Sara Stewart Haddow – Deputy General Manager

Sara joined The Regent Centre in Dec 2013 following the merger with the Christchurch Information Centre. Sara manages the Information Centre on a day-to-day basis and helps us welcome the estimated 1.5 million tourists to Christchurch every year, as well as over 100,000 into the Regent Centre alone.

Julie Corbin – Volunteer Coordinator

Julie joined The Regent Centre in August 2014 as our full time volunteer Coordinator. The Regent Centre currently has over 200 volunteers working FOH and it is Julie's responsibility to help manage them and the rotas.

Alexandra Stanley – Finance Officer

Alex is an integral part of the Regent Centre that keeps us operating and functioning to a high level daily. We currently welcome over 300 events into the venue every year and Alex is responsible in making sure everyone gets paid on time, both in house and externally. Originally from Bath, Alex lives locally with her family and two dogs, George and Nellie.

Laura Dean – Marketing & Promotions

Laura joined the team in 2016 as Marketing Assistant assisting the Deputy Manager with the marketing, publicity and promotion of the Regent Centre. Laura is an avid theatre lover and loves heading to London to see the latest West End show. 

Chris Cole– Box Office Supervisor

Chris joined the team in 2021 and manages the Regent Centre Box Office, selling over 150,000 theatre and cinema tickets each year. Chris loves taking trips to London to see a West End show and his favourite musical is definitely Phantom of the Opera (or The Lion King... or Billy Elliot... or Blood Brothers...)

Scott Gurd  – Technical Manager

Scott joined the team in 2021 having previously worked at Salisbury Playhouse as a senior technician for 5 years and in the theatre industry, from Front of house to backstage, for over 20 years. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, snooker and of course theatre and cinema (any kind of action movie or comedy!).

Paul Skelding  - Maintenance Technician


Paul is relatively new to the area and joined the team in 2021, having moved down from London where he designed and made bespoke furniture. In his spare time he enjoys attending all the arts and has a passion for sailing and tennis.

Rufus Sellick-Pilley  - Front of House Assistant


Rufus joined the team in 2021 as a Front of house Supervisor. He Studied BTEC Performing Arts at Brockenhurst college and has always had passion for performing. Rufus started his career in theatre working for Odeon Cinemas on Westover Road before going on to join the management team who opened the new BH2 cinema in Bournemouth town centre.

Jo Pajak  - Front of House Assistant


Jo graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2008. Her career so far has involved various technical and stage management roles across television and theatre, from Boom Operator on BBC Casualty to Deputy Stage Manager for the Egg Theatre in Bath's Christmas productions. Jo moved to Bournemouth in 2019 and worked as Front of House Manager for The Shelley Theatre before joining the Regent Centre's Front of House team in August 2021.
